Less copy and paste. More time for the actual work.
I build small automations and tools that take the boring, repetitive part of your week off your desk. Reports that fill themselves in, lists that clean themselves up, recordings that turn into text. You explain it in plain words, I make it work.
Sound familiar?
- Every month you copy the same numbers from one tool into a spreadsheet.
- Three exports, three formats, and an afternoon spent merging them and hunting duplicates.
- Recordings of calls or videos pile up because nobody has time to type them out.
- The same small steps, by hand, every week, because "it's quicker than fixing it".
Most of this does not need new software. It needs one small tool that does exactly that step, and that you can check yourself.
What I can help with
If a task follows the same steps every time, there is a good chance a tool can do it for you.
- Reports that fill themselves in
- Your numbers pulled from the tools you use and dropped into a spreadsheet, updated without double counting. No more copying figures at the end of the month.
- Lists that clean themselves up
- Messy exports from different systems merged into one clean list. Duplicates found, conflicts flagged, your original files left untouched.
- Recordings that turn into text
- Calls, interviews and videos transcribed with timestamps, right on your own computer, so nothing gets uploaded anywhere.
- Tools made for exactly your job
- The one annoying step that no app on the market handles quite right, turned into a small tool that does just that. From video helpers to apps that work offline.
Built with: Python, Google Sheets, CSV and Excel, web apps, and AI that runs locally where it actually helps. If your tool has an export or an API, it can usually be connected. Whether yours can is checked in the first call.
Things I have built
Some for clients, some because a task annoyed me enough to automate it. Client names stay private.
-
The report that writes itself
For a client
Newsletter figures used to be copied into an overview by hand every month. Now a script collects them and keeps the sheet up to date.
-
Speech to text, fully offline
My own tool, used regularly
A desktop app that turns hours of audio and video into searchable text, without sending a single file to the cloud.
-
Order out of messy exports
My own tool
Different files, different columns, the same people or products listed twice. One run, one clean list, and the unclear cases marked for a human.
-
Video editing, made repeatable
My own tools
Recordings, transcripts and chosen clips in one place, so cuts can be rendered again at any time. Plus a helper that suggests the best still frames.
-
Online courses that stay in sync
For clients
A course platform set up and looked after, shop pages and course content kept consistent, newsletters sent on time.
-
An app that needs no internet
My own project
A training planner that installs from the browser, works offline and keeps all data on the phone.
How it works
Start small, then grow what works.
-
Free call
You show me the step that costs you time, in plain words. You get an honest answer on whether a tool is worth it.
-
Clear offer
I document your process with a few real examples. You get a written offer with a fixed price and a timeline.
-
Build and check
I start with the most important step. We test it on your examples and fix what does not match.
-
Handover
You get the tool, the code and a short guide in plain language. Further work is only agreed if you want it.
You own everything. Tools run on your computer or in your own accounts. If we stop working together, everything keeps working and you can change it yourself or with anyone else.
Pricing
Every job is different, so there is no price list. Instead you get a clear offer before anything starts.
| Step | Cost | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Conversation | Free | You tell me what eats your time. I listen, ask questions and write it all down. |
| Offer | Free | You get a written offer: what I will build, how long it takes and a fixed price. |
| Build | Fixed | Only if you say yes. The price agreed in the offer is the price you pay. |
I do not promise savings up front. How much time a tool saves is measured on your real work once it runs. Costs for external services, if any are needed, are named in the offer. Prices exclude VAT where it applies.
Data APIs
Ready-to-use data feeds on the Apify platform. Pay per result, no subscription.
German Court Decisions API
Decisions of Germany's federal courts as clean JSON or ready-made chunks for AI search, with monitoring for new decisions.
- Filter by court, date, decision type and keywords
- Headnotes, full text and metadata
- Built for legal research tools and AI assistants
More in development
More data APIs are in development. Need data from a specific public source? Write to me, it may become the next one.
Who you work with
Hi, I am Aljoscha Schunter, and Layerwise Labs is my studio in Novi Sad, Serbia. I love building automations. There is something deeply satisfying about watching a tool do in seconds what used to take someone an afternoon.
I also love the part before the code: talking to people, understanding how they work and finding the one step that really slows them down. You explain it the way you would to a friend. The technical side is my job.
And I want this to be fair. If something is not worth automating, I will tell you, even if it means no job for me. You talk to me directly, in English or German.
Questions
How much time will this save me?
I will not promise a number before seeing your work. In the first call we look at how long the step takes today. Once the tool runs, you can see for yourself what it saves.
Do I need to buy new software?
Usually not. Most tools work with the exports, spreadsheets and files you already have. If anything extra is needed, you know before you agree to a price.
What happens if something breaks?
Tools are built to show a clear message instead of failing silently, and the guide explains what to check. If a source changes later, for example a new export format, I can update the tool for you.
Is my data safe?
Where possible, tools run on your own computer, so files and recordings never leave it. Access to your accounts is only needed during the build and can be removed right after handover.
I am not technical. Is that a problem?
No. You describe how you work today and show an example. The guide you get at the end is written in plain language.
Which step do you repeat every week?
Write two or three sentences: what comes in, what you need at the end, and where the manual work is. You get an answer within two working days.
English or German.
